How to get here:

The Industrial Estate is numbered in a similar fashion to an Advent Calendar, we recommend using What3words which will guide you straight to the gin school door. There are three gates onto Mansfield Road, you can enter the industrial estate via any of them we are on the back right-hand corner.

Should you need to reschedule your gin school lesson, we require a minimum of 14 days notice prior to your booking date and a £15 rescheduling fee will apply, please note we are unable to reschedule your booking more than once.

Places left means stills available. 

We recommend leaving your car at home and not consuming alcohol before your experience. You are operating a hot still and testing high strength alcohol. We want you to enjoy your experience safely.

The distillation process will take around 90 minutes, during which time  you will enjoy a complimentary G&T and learn how we create our award-winning gin in the distillery.

Our expert distillers will guide you throughout the process including when to make those all important cuts which will influence your spirit's flavour.


A chance to sample a selection of our spirits.


We will help you to complete your bespoke batch of gin, which you will then decant into a 70cl bottle, apply your bespoke personalised label and cork your own bottle.

  • How long should I allow for the experience?

    Please allow 2-3 hours for the experience. We highly recommend eating first and NOT driving!

  • Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

    By law you must be 18 or over to participate. We have a challenge 25 policy, so if you are lucky enough to look under 25 or are under 25, please bring ID with you.

  • How do I redeem a voucher?

    You don’t need to contact us to redeem a voucher. 

    Simply click on the date and session that you'd like to book and enter your voucher code in the discount/voucher code box.

  • How do I reschedule my gin school lesson due to Covid 19?

    If your gin school has been postponed due to Covid 19 please check our availability Calendar online and simply email us on enquiries@withersgin.co.uk with your original booking ID and preferred rebooking date. A new booking confirmation will be sent by email when confirmed.

  • Can I bring my child?

    We’re sorry but due to licensing restrictions this is one school that children under the age of 18 are not allowed to attend.

  • I’ve booked a ‘Gin School Lesson for One’, but would now like to bring someone with me, can I change my booking?

    If you would like to upgrade your booking to a ‘Gin School Lesson for Two’ to share, please email enquiries@withersgin.co.uk or call +44 (0) 1332 672105

  • Do you have accessible toilets?

    Our distillery is an old industrial unit and as such is not as accessible as we’d like, please check with us to ensure that we are able to meet your requirements. Our gender neutral toilet has ground floor level access.

  • Will you feed me?

     No sorry, we don’t serve food. However there are a wealth of options close by.

  • I have food allergies – can I still make gin?

    We are absolutely able to accommodate. We have lots of experience with food allergies and can cater for these.

  • Is my Gin School Voucher refundable?

     No. Gin school vouchers are non- refundable and cannot be used as value towards retail purchases. Gin School vouchers can however be transferred to another participant.

  • Can I cancel my booking?

    If you wish to cancel your booking we require a minimum of 14 days notice prior to your booking date. Cancellations made within 72 hours of your booking will be charged in full and those within 7 days will be charged at 50%. Bookings made with a Gin School Voucher are non refundable . Please email us at enquiries@withersgin.co.uk or call +44 (0) 1332 672105 to cancel your booking.

  • Can I reschedule my booking for a gin school lesson?

    If you need to reschedule your gin school lesson, we require a minimum of 14 days notice prior to your booking date and a £15 rescheduling fee will apply. 

  • How long is my voucher valid from?

    Your Gin School voucher is valid for 18 months from date of purchase.

  • Where can I park?

    There is parking on site behind the gin school.

  • How many places are there at a Gin School Lesson?

    We have 6 mini copper pot stills, so we can accommodate a maximum of 12 people.
