I'll Remember You
Commemorating 80th Anniversary of D-Day
In a harmonious blend of heritage and craftsmanship, The D-Day Darlings and Withers Gin joined forces in 2024 to create a special edition London Dry Gin that is as poignant as it is palatable. Crafted with the internationally acclaimed Withers Gin’s G1 recipe, this spirit is the distilled essence of remembrance in a bottle, distilled with the hero botanical, the heartsease flower—a flower of remembrance —to honour the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
Named 'I'll Remember You,' this commemorative gin resonates with the soul-stirring melody performed by The D-Day Darlings, the UK's premier wartime music group.
This evocative gin is more than a drink— it's a narrative, a melody of memory resonating with the timeless strains of the D-Day Darlings' soul-stirring performance of 'I'll Remember You.' It is designed to awaken conversations and stories from a fading past, to keep the spirit and lessons of bygone days alive in our collective consciousness, as the years pass, the voices of D-Day become quieter, but with every pour, we invite you to kindle the conversations that keep the spirit of that era alive.

The group includes members with connections to both World War I and World War II including its founder, Katie Ashby whose step-grandfather, Flt Lt Clifford Storr, a former Lancaster Navigator completed over 50 operational return sorties during WW2.
They gained national acclaim on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent and subsequently signed with Sony UK. Celebrating D-Day 80, they have made notable appearances on various prime time programs across the BBC and ITV on both television and radio and are currently touring with their VE Day 80 tour, delivering heartfelt performances that honour the resilience and spirit of those who lived through the war.
The Withers Connection
Founded by Sarah, wife of an Army veteran and whose family has deep military connections, the brand draws inspiration from her grandfather, a WWII veteran and her father, an RAF officer, WG Commander Angus Balfour Crockatt AFC who led a formation of Hawk jets in the shape of a 50 over the Queen in London over the Thames to commemorate the 50th anniversary of VJ Day in 1995. The same formation was also flown for the 50th anniversary of D-Day in 1994.
This rich heritage is woven into every bottle of Withers Gin, ensuring each sip carries a legacy of courage and honour. The brand has consistently strived to create spirits that not only delight the palate but also serve as a tribute to the sacrifices and triumphs of those who served. By partnering with The D-Day Darlings, Withers Gin continues to celebrate the enduring spirit of resilience and unity, bringing people together to remember the past and inspire future generations. Through their innovative products and charitable initiatives, Withers Gin has established itself as a beacon of community support and remembrance, proudly honouring its roots in a meaningful and impactful way.
